______________________ Finished Projects: Current Projects: Zen Game |
Zen Game (Dogen?) Right now, our whole energy is being put into a game of concentration and monotony simulating the experience of meditation by a 8th century chinese monk. As may be well known, the buddhist culture suffered a big drawback in the 8th century, when its great wordly wealth has been confiscated and the legions of monks and nuns were forced to repel their spiritual status. It was in these times when Ch´an Buddhism, later better known as Zen, consolidated its customes and proved its usefulness because due to the fact that Zen monks, often descendants of peasants and all kind of common people, lived from their own labor and so were spared during the prosecution. Grafically inspired by a Singaporean publisher, the game shall be simple to use but a link of knowledge of Zen practice and theory. Because of that we have been working for months and months on the concept, without any definite result. Lately the suggestion was made to set all possibly difficult points aside and do what is possible, that is, generally the complexity of Partygames, which is nothing. But still it could be finished.
